Aim Point LLC is a firearms training and consulting service based in Pittsburgh, PA. Aim Point LLC services the greater Pittsburgh area including Westmorland, Washington and Fayette counties. Aim Point LLC is geared towards beginning shooters as well as those wanting to improve their marksmanship skills. I teach from an interactive hands on approach using simulated weapons (SIRT pistols) as well as various types of firearms.
The goal of this training is to provide the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to learn pistol marksmanship using a virtual training system. The course typically runs about 2-3 hrs with the opportunity to run through various drills depending on your knowledge and skill level. This course is portable and can be presented in your home or other location.

The goal of the seminar is to highlight the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential for selecting, safely handling, storing, and cleaning a firearm. This seminar generally lasts about an hour.

This course introduces students to the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. This course will also help prepare the student for participation in other NRA courses. This is an instructor led only training. The course will be broken down into three segments, two classroom sessions and range qualification. The classroom sessions will typically be evening classes and the range qualification will take place on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Students will be expected to bring 200 rounds and a semi-automatic pistol to qualify with. (If you don’t have your own pistol, one may be rented at an additional charge).

This a hybrid course of both online training and instructor led training. This course introduces students to the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. Students will be expected to bring 200 rounds and a firearm to qualify with.

The Basic “Personal Protection in the Home” Course develops the individual’s basic knowledge, skills and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a firearm for protection of self and family. The course also provides information on the law-abiding citizen’s right to self defense.

This course is designed for those who prefer a one on one approach and have some current basic knowlege/skills. It will last 3-4 hrs and can be a combination of classroom and range time. Students should bring a minimum of 200 rounds and a firearm to train with.

I have over 28 years of military and Federal Law Enforcement training combined. In 2011 I retired as a LtCol in the Air Force Reserves working as a Special Agent with the US Air Force Office of Special Investigation (AFOSI). In addition, I recently retired from federal service as a Special Agent. I have been trained in various firearms and defensive tactics and am a small arms Marksmanship expert.
Certified as a Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) Active Shooter Instructor and National Rifle Association Instructor. Certified in Ultimate Training Munitions instruction as well.
